YOUR ENGAGED!! Congratulations!! Now what do you do?
Hopefully you have found the perfect venue that is going to be the back drop to your big day.
(& hired Sara Grace of course!)
Then to all the details, vendors, contracts and then timeline.
I love working with my brides to create the ideal timeline that honors your guests and still allows for perfect pictures in the best light rain or shine.
1. A first Look?
A first look is wonderful for many reasons saves time, 80% of photos are done before the ceremony.
Leaving you lots of time to enjoy your reception and steal away for sunset photos while everyone eats. Still tradition can come into play and we need to make sure that both partners have a voice.
No matter your choice the moment your groom sees you for the first time is priceless.
The distribution of time for your day is determined on this choice and of course the best light.
2. Golden Hour
This is the hour or so before sunset and the best light God gives us all day. This is a magic hour that I love and want to protect for all my couples. Plan your Ceremony about 60-90 min before this time and please call me I will guide you and help you navigate this part of your day.
3. Timeline
Always plan for your day to run late. Lots of people getting ready and lots of fun silly moments. Take time to enjoy and be present. I always tell my brides to plan to start hair and make up an hour earlier than you think you should. Even if that means an early wake up call. Lovingly remind immediate family to be there 30 min before they should for portraits. Sometimes the fastest way to save time is to make sure everyone you love is at the same place. I will work with you and your day of coordinator to make sure everything is perfect and most importantly there are pockets of peace that protect you and your family throughout the day
